Origin and History of the Tiranga Jhanda
Long before the country attained freedom, the Indian flag’s journey started. Only a few weeks before India gained independence on August 15, 1947, the Constituent Assembly of India approved the Tiranga’s current design on July 22, 1947. Nonetheless, the flag’s development began in the early 1900s.
